Haasl, Theresa A. (27 SEP 1915 - 22 APR 2012)

 

Theresa A. Haasl, 96, formerly of Milladore, died peacefully on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Marshfield Care Center.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, April 27, 2012 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Milladore. Rev. Andrzej will officiate and Catherine Warnecke will be the organist for St. Wenceslaus Senior Choir. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. The visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Martens / Rembs Funeral Home, Junction City and on Friday from 9:30 am until service time at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Milladore. 

Mrs. Haasl was born on September 27, 1915 in Greenwood, the daughter of Peter and Josephine Bushman. She married Hector J. Haasl on October 24, 1933 at St. Francis Catholic Church, Arpin. He died on October 22, 1976. 

Theresa and her husband farmed in Milladore and she also worked at Roddis Plywood, Marshfield, for a time. She enjoyed playing cards, fishing, crocheting, and embroidering. She was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church and its Altar Society. 

She is survived by her children, Mary Richards of Sisters, Oregon, Delores (Marvin) Mattheisen of Spencer, Ronald Haasl of LaCenter, Washington, Charles (Carol) Haasl of Wisconsin Rapids, Virginia Haasl of Corpus Christi, TX, Joseph (My) Haasl of Corpus Christi, TX, and Patrick (Sharon) Haasl of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandson. She is further survived by a sister, Verna Erickson of Withee. 

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, two sons, James and David and a grandson, Michael Mattheisen.
