Aschenbrenner, Raymond H. (30 SEP 1952 - 20 APR 2012)

 

Raymond "Ray" H. Aschenbrenner, 59, of Black River Falls, died suddenly Friday, April 20, 2012, in Green Bay. He was born Sept. 30, 1952, in Marshfield, to Harold "Bud" and Lois (Radtke) Aschenbrenner.

Ray grew up in Neillsville and was a graduate of Neillsville High School. 

Following high school, he was united in marriage Aug. 7, 1976, to LuAnn (Marg) Aschenbrenner in Black River Falls.

Ray worked for Lunda Construction as a transportation engineer.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and everything outdoors. Ray was a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation, Kamp Kahuna, Evangelical Lutheran Church of Black River Falls, past member of the church council, Black River Falls Booster Club, and Orange Moose Adventure Theater.

He is survived by his wife, LuAnn; son, Jesse (Becky Wyss) Aschenbrenner of Black River Falls; grandson, Sawyer; brothers, Paul (Peggy) Aschenbrenner of Three Lakes and John (Mary) Aschenbrenner of Onalaska; sister, Debra (David) LeTexier of New Lisbon; other nieces, nephews, relatives, and many special friends.

A private family memorial service will be held.

There will be a celebration of life and time of gathering, Saturday, April 28, 2012, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., at Miles-Hagen American Legion Post, Black River Falls.

Torgerson Funeral Home of Black River Falls is assisting the family with arrangements.
