Willard (27 January 1966)

Yes, cold again!  This time (Monday morning) the temperature fell to 28 degrees below zero in the Willard area - the coldest thus far this year.

Sunday dinner guests at the Julius Klapatauskas home were Eunice Klapatauskas and Jim Doepke of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Gregorich and Jim, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Klapatauskas, Donna and Diane, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Debevec, Pat, Billy and Alan.

Frank Volovsek, Jr., has returned home from the hospital.

Jim Petkovsek and Eddie Franz, who spent a few days here, have returned to Sturgis, S. D.

Mr. and Mrs. John Betz of Spencer spent Sunday at the Joseph Plautz home.

The Council of Catholic Women held a card party at the West Side Hall Sunday.  Prizes at each table and a door prize were drawn.  A grand prize will be given at the end of the series.

Miss Beverly Boh of Eau Claire visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Boh, and family recently.

Mr. and Mrs. Tony Volovsek and children of Milwaukee were here for the funeral of Mrs. Robert Langreck, the former Angeline Pekol.
