Vincent, Elzora (11 April 1888 - 6 January 1966)

Mrs. Sam Vincent, 77, died Thursday, January 6, at the Memorial Hospital at Black River Falls, following a lingering illness.

Elzora Burlingame was born April 11, 1888, in Neillsville, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Willard Burlingame.  She moved to Merrillan with her parents at an early age and attended the local school here.  She married Sam Vincent on July 25, 1906, at Winona.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Neil (Beulah) Rose, Rockford, Ill.; two sons, Jack R., Moline, Ill., and Robert, Merrillan; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services were held at 2 p.m. January 9, at the Merrillan Methodist Church, the Rev. Calvin Carey officiating.  Burial was made in the Oakwood Cemetery, Merrillan.
