JAMES KOCHER (1915 - 1995)


James F. Kocher, 79, Oak Creek, died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 1995, at Milwaukee Nursing Home. A memorial service was held on Saturday, Jan. 28, 1995, at 1 p.m. at Prasser-Kleczka Funeral Home, Milwaukee. Burial was in the Arlington Cemetery, Milwaukee.


James F. Kocher was born on May 1, 1915, in the Town of Eaton, Clark County, to Fred and Annie (nee Picker) Kocher. He received his education in Greenwood Schools. In the late 1930's he moved to Milwaukee, where he worked for Central Wisconsin Trucking. He married Val Baumann on May 11, 1946, in Milwaukee. She survives. He retired in 1979. He was a veteran of WWII.


Survivors include his wife and one brother, Donald Kocher, Holcombe.


He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ralph and Herbert.


Prasser-Kleczka Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
