Carter, Edward (1827 - 10 May 1900)
Edward Carter, aged 72 years and 6 months,
died at his home in the town of Washburn, Clark County, Saturday,
May 10th, 1900, after a brief illness from apoplexy. He was born in
St. Lawrence County, N.Y. On coming west, he settled in the town of
Washburn, where he has lived for many years. He was buried in the
Grant Cemetery Monday, the funeral being held in the Ridge Church,
Rev. G. N. Foster officiating.
