LeClaire, Adeline (21 JAN 1829 - 21 OCT 1906)

Adeline LeClaire died at her home in this village (Dorchester, Clark County, Wis.), on Oct. 21st, 1906, at 2:30 a.m. The deceased was taken ill about three months ago and later on the disease developed into cholera morbus until finally the end came.

Mrs. Le Claire was born in St. Martins, Canada, Jan. 21st, 1829, came to the U. S. in 1868, and to Dorchester some 28 years ago. She was married Jan. 22, 1852.

Besides her husband, there survived her four boys, five girls, fifty grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. Her children's names are, Adeline, Julius, Josephine, Joel, Tellis, Delia, Delphine, Leopoldine and Olevine.

The services were held from the catholic Church Tuesday at 10 o'clock a.m., Father Birsner officiating. Deceased was a good mother and will long be mourned by her family and friends. She made a special request before she died that her pall bearers be all relatives, namely Julius LeClaire, J. J. LaClaire, Tellis LeClaire, Julius Panger, Alec Duvall Sr. and Alec Duvall Jr.
