Lindner, Michael (1947 - 2002)


Michael Hunter Lindner, 54, Loyal, Clark County, died on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2002, at his home. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. The Rev. Roman Kaiser officiated. Interment of cremains will take place at a later date.


Michael Lindner was born on Sept. 6, 1947, in Loyal, to Vincent and Nina (nee Redetzke) Lindner. He attended St. Anthony's Catholic School and graduated from Loyal High School in 1967. He married Lavon Geiger on May 13, 1972. They owned and operated a dairy farm in the Loyal area for many years. His interests included his children, family and friends, his coffee clutch, driving his car, fishing, playing cards and reading. He was a member of the Loyal Jaycees, the Loyal Corn Festival Committee, and St. Anthony's Catholic Church.


Survivors include his wife, Lavon, Loyal four children, Dana (Pat) Phillips, Marshfield, Peggy (Christopher Helgestad) Lindner, Spencer, Luke (Stacy Potter) Lindner, Loyal, and Jill Lindner, Marshfield two grandsons, Aaron and Jamie Phillips his father, Vincent Pete (Lois Zimmerman-Lindner) Lindner, Loyal three sisters, Judy (Dennis) Olson, Greenwood, Darlene (Ted) Woodkey, Spencer, and Kay (Tom) Schultz, Stevens Point and one brother, Pat (Chris) Lindner, Loyal.


Preceding him in death was his mother, Nina Lindner.


Cuddie Funeral Home, Loyal, assisted the family with arrangements.
