Briski, Anne Marie (1962 - 2001)


Anne Marie Briski, 38, Thorp, Clark County, died on Tuesday, July 10, 2001, at Victory Medical Center, Stanley. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, July 13, at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig's Catholic Church, Thorp. The rev. John Puerner officiated. Burial was in St. Bernard's Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dewey McIntire, Dr. Christopher McIntire, Joseph McIntire, James McIntire, Jim Briski, and Harold Briski.


Anne Marie McIntire was born on July 12, 1962, in Lorain, Ohio, to John and Denise (nee Lenzen) McIntire. She attended area schools until the family moved to Abbotsford, in 1975. In 1977, her family moved to Thorp where she had resided since. She graduated from Thorp High School in 1980. She married Robert Briski on Oct. 26, 1991, at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig's Catholic Church, Thorp. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, painting, and was fond of her two dogs and three cats.


Survivors include her husband, Robert Briski, Thorp two step-children, Jason Briski and Marcia Briski, both of Ear Claire her mother, Denise McIntire, Thorp two sisters, Jill (Randy) Natzke, Thorp, and Judy (Dennis) Aken, Thorp seven brothers, Martin (Theresa McIntire, Lorain, Ohio, Dr. Christopher McIntire, Chicago, Ill., Dewey McIntire, Thorp, John (Jane) McIntire, Thorp, James (Karla) McIntire, Thorp, Michael McIntire, Minneapolis, Minn., and Joseph McIntire, Thorp.


She was preceded in death by her father, John McIntire Sr., on March 25, 1995.


Thorp Funeral Home, Thorp, assisted the family with arrangements.
