Zoellner, LaVonne (1940 - 2001)


LaVonne Vonnie Rachel Zoellner, 61, Urbandale, Iowa, died on Monday, April 30, 2001, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Funeral services were held at 7 p.m., on Thursday, May 3, at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, Urbandale, Iowa.


LaVonne Rachel Schultz was born in Neillsville, Clark County, to Howard and Virginia (nee Sautner) Schultz. She was raised in rural Loyal. She lived in the Marshfield area from 1958 - 1962. She married James William Zoellner on April 28, 1962, in Chili. They lived in Wausau and Schofield areas from 1962 to 1985. She was employed at Sears Credit Central as a customer service representative in West Des Moines, Iowa. She was a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church, Urbandale, Iowa, and its church circle. She was active in several church activities and the Women of the ELCA. She enjoyed working in her flower garden.


Survivors include her husband, James W. Zoellner, Urbandale, Iowa her father, Howard Schultz, Marshfield two daughters, Jill Mall, West Des Moines, Iowa, and Pamela Zoellner, Minneapolis, Minn. one son, Keith Zoellner, Urbandale, Iowa three grandchildren two sisters, Rebecca DeFries, Marshfield, and Mary Schellinger, Spencer and three brothers, Edward Schultz, Spencer, John Schultz, Loyal, and Scott Schultz, Loyal.


She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Schultz.


Westover Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
