Loos, Clinton (1916 - 1991)
 

Clinton George Loos, 75, Colonial House Living Center, Colby, died Friday, Feb. 22, 1991, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 26, 1991, at 2 p.m. at Rux Funeral Home, Colby. Rev. Kenneth Dix of the First United Church of Christ, Colby, officiated and burial was in Colby Memorial Cemetery.


Clinton George Loos was born Feb. 15, 1916, in Colby, to Emil and Bertha (nee Matthias) Loos. He received his education in Colby schools. He was a lifetime resident of Colby and worked as a machinist at the Loos Machine Shop, which he owned with his two brothers, Vern and Sherman. He was an avid horseman, and was an owner, breeder and showman of Tennessee Walking Horse.


Survivors include three daughters, Linda Scarth, Armedale South Wales, Australia Mrs. Connie Fischer, Colby and Jane Loos, Washington, D.C. one brother, Vern Loos, Colby two sisters, Lorene Starkey, Northfield, Minn. and Norma Reyer, Thorp.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.


Rux Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
