Arthur Castner, 68, Humbird, died April 17, 1990, at 7:30 p.m. at his home. Graveside services were held April 20, 1990, at the Town of Mentor Cemetery. Rev. Thomas LaChapelle officiated. Pallbearers were Randy, Ronnie, Ricky, Bruce, Jeff and Steven Sischo.

Arthur Castner was born June 28, 1921, in the Town of Mentor, to George and Eveline (Olson) Castner. He received his education in Humbird. After school he worked on the family farm in the Town of Mentor. He also worked for Eisentraut Tree farm for 25 years.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Richard (Lillien) Sischo, Neillsville and one brother, Clarence E. Castner, Humbird.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Gesche Funeral Home, Inc., was in charge of the arrangements.
