Haeuser, Alma B. (1892 - 1959)


GREENWOOD--The Rev. Ethel Nulton will officiate at funeral services at 3 p.m. Friday at Grace Methodist Church for Mrs. George Haeuser, 67, Greenwood, Clark County, who died of a heart attack at her home Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 11, 1959. Burial is to be made in Greenwood Cemetery.


The body will lie in state at the Hill Funeral Home until 11:30 a.m. Friday, when it will be taken to the church.


The former Alma B. Erickson was born Aug. 9, 1892, at Stetsonville. She received her education in Stetsonville and Medford schools. On Nov. 21, 1912, she was married at Stetsonville to George Haeuser, who survives her. After their marriage they lived at Auburndale, where he operated a cheese factory until 1914. They then moved to Arpin, where he operated another cheese factory until 1919, when they moved to Greenwood, where they resided since.


She was a member of Grace Methodist Church and its WSCS Society, a member of the Greenwood Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the Forest Queen Camp Royal Neighbors.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Myrle (Joyce) Hales, Manawa Mrs. Wilbur (Audrey) Kehrberg, Loyal Mrs. Bernard (Beverly) Denk, Greenwood one son, Garth, Torrance, Calif. eight grandchildren six great-grandchildren one sister, Mrs. George (Emma) Krakenberger, Medford and one brother, Alner, of Elrose, Saskatchewan, Canada.


Four brothers preceded her in death.
