MRS. EDGAR DYER


Mrs. Edgar (Lida E. Hamre) Dyer
, 79, of 236 Newman Road, Racine, passed away early Sunday morning, Feb. 5, 1978, at St. Mary's
Medical Center.


Funeral services for Mrs. Dyer were conducted at Holy Communion Lutheran Church, 2000 W. Sixth St., on Wednesday, Feb. 8, at 1:30 p.m., with the Rev. Thomas Pederson officiating. Interment was in the West Lawn Memorial Park.


Lida Hamre was born in Dodgeville on Sept. 28, 1889. She was married to Edgar Dyer in Greenwood, Clark County on June 16, 1920. She lived in Racine since 1923.


She was a member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church, Ruth Circle of the church and the Mygatts Women's Club.


Surviving are her husband, Edgar one daughter and one son-in-law Evelyn and Robert Belland, Racine one son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Delores Dyer, Racine, seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter two sisters and one brother-in-law, Ida and Harry Lehnert and Miss Laura Hamre, all of Racine brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and other relatives.


Wilson Funeral Home, Racine, was in charge of arrangements.
