ANNA SUSA


Anna Susa, 89, formerly of Greenwood, Clark County, died Friday, June 28, 1991, at Neillsville Memorial Home, Neillsville. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, 1991, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood. Rev. Art Heindl of Westboro officiated and burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.


Pallbearers were Gib Weizenegger, Alfred Bredlau, Mike Sladich, Bill McCormmick, Paul Susa, and John Gatz.


Anna Waseca was born June 18, 1902, in Greenwood, to Robert and Rose (nee Cjadara) Waseca. She received her education in Clark County Schools and at Janesville. She married Paul Susa June 23, 1923, in Greenwood. They farmed in the town of Eaton. She was preceded in death by her husband Jan. 14, 1953. She lived on the farm until 1959, moving to Greenwood. For the past two years she had been residing at the Neillsville Memorial Home. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.


Survivors include one son, Howard Susa, Greenwood; five grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.


She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, Marian Gatz and two sisters.


Rinka Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
