NORMA FERO


Funeral services were held at Zion Lutheran Church, Granton, on Sunday for Mrs. Norma Fero, 74, who died at her home on Dec. 1, 1977. The Rev. Horst Augustin officiated and burial was in the church cemetery.


Pallbearers were Art Peterson, Keith Mahnke and Ed Shier, Chicago, Brian Fero, Milwaukee, Luther Handt, Marshfield, and Wallace Riedel, Granton.


The congregation sang, Asleep in Jesus and I Know That My Redeemer Lives , accompanied by Mrs. Roger Helm, organist.


Mrs. Fero, the former Norma Porath, was born Feb. 22, 1903 in the Town of Lynn, Clark County. She received her education in that township and was married at Pittsville, Aug. 12, 1931 to Lyle Fero, who died Feb. 24, 1975. After their marriage they lived at Granton, where she was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.


Survivors are a son Neal, Milwaukee, a daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Betty Lou) Ayala, Chicago, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.


Besides her husband she was predeceased by a daughter Jean, three brothers and two sisters.
