MRS. JOHANA HORVAT

Greenwood--Mrs. Johana, Horvat, 86, of Greenwood, Clark County, died at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 8, 1972 in Memorial Nursing Home at Neillsville where she had been a resident for the past two years.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood and at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, also in Greenwood.

The Rev. Leander, Koopman, pastor, will officiate and committal services will be held in the Holy Family Cemetery in Willard.

Visitations may be made at the Hill Funeral Home beginning Sunday afternoon. A general rosary service will be conducted there at 7:30 p.m. Sunday evening.

The fomer Johana Godec was born Oct. 18, 1886, in Yugoslavia, and in 1906 she was married to John Horvat in Aspen, Colo., where they had arrived from Yugoslavia. Mr. Horvat preceded his wife in death Aug. 25, 1930. Following their marriage they resided in Colorado until 1916, when they moved to Willard and settled on a farm. In 1950 she relocated in Greenwood, where she resided until two years ago.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenwood and St. Ann's Society.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Mary) Klune, Neillsville Mrs. Joseph (Jennie) Tolaney, Greenwood and Mrs. Val (Helen) Krainz, Willard a son, Rudy, Willard (The rest of my copy was cut off)
