JOHN MICHAEL SUSA


Greenwood--Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church here for John Michael Susa, 78, of Greenwood, Clark County, who died at his home Tuesday, July 20, 1971 following an apparent heart attack.


The Rev. Mathew G. Malnar, Independence, will officiate and burial will be made in the parish cemetery. Visitations may be made at the Hill Funeral Home beginning today. A parish rosary will be recited there at 8 p.m. today.


Mr. Susa was born Sept. 24, 1892, in Buffalo County, and was married in Greenwood to Dora Bautch June 20, 1917. He received his education in the Town of Eaton and operated a farm southwest of Greenwood until retirement in 1960. In the fall of 1968 the couple moved into the city of Greenwood. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1967.


Survivors, in addition to his wife, are three sons, Cletus Susa, Willard James Susa, Loyal, and Giles Susa, Greenwood 24 grandchildren three great-grandchildren a brother, Joseph Susa, Greenwood and two sister, Mrs. Sophie Peiper, Greenwood and Mrs. Hattie Bodwin, Milwaukee.
