Greenwood--Military funeral rites will be conducted her on Saturday for Jacob Sonderegger, 53, World War Veteran who died at Marshfield Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 27, 1943.

The Rev. B. M. Fresenborg will have charge of services at the Schiller Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. and at Zion Reformed Church at 2 p.m. Burial will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Mr. Sonderegger struck his head against a mower part while cutting buckwheat several weeks ago, but did not consider the injury serious at the time. He entered the Army in the spring of 1918 and served for 14 months, 11 of them overseas.

On Sept. 20, 1920, he was married to Martha Beerli, and they came to the farm 2 miles east of Greenwood, on which they have lived since then.
Mr. Sonderegger was a member of Henry D. Wallis Post of the American Legion here.
