FRANK MANNING, 73, DIES ON SATURDAY
FORMER GREENWOOD RESIDENT WILL BE BURIED TUESDAY AFTERNOON


Greenwood
--Frank Manning, 73, former Greenwood, Clark County resident, died at the home of his son, Stanley, in Jump River Saturday afternoon, May 9, 1942, after an illness of about a year.


Mr. Manning resided on a farm 3 miles southeast of Greenwood, until about a year ago, when he went to Jump River to live with his son.


The body was brought her to lie in state at the Stabnow Funeral Home until the services Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Alex J. Abbott, pastor of Grace Methodist Church, will officiate and burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.


Mr. Manning was born in Tunnel City Nov. 21, 1868. Mrs. Manning died several years ago.


Three sons, Stanley, Elmer, and Lloyd, all of Jump River, survive.


Pallbearers will be Ed Rohde, Otto Roehl, Lynn Kocher, Robert McConnell, Earl Rohde, and Emil Schendl.
