CHILD, 2, IS DEAD OF GLAND AILMENT
CAROL JEAN LANGFELDT TO BE BURIED AT GREENWOOD WEDNESDAY


Greenwood--Carol Jean Langfeldt, 2-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Langfeldt, died at 6 a.m. Sunday, May 30, 1948 at the Neillsville Hospital. She was the victim of a rare gland ailment complicated by pneumonia.


A brief service will be held at the Schiller Funeral Home, here prior to rites at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Zion Reformed Church, the Rev. B. M. Fresenborg officiating.
Burial will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery.


The child was born in Neillsville Feb. 12, 1946, and was stricken with the rare disease six months later. She spent six weeks at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield and was then returned to her home. The girl was admitted to the Neillsville Hospital May 23.


The Lanfeldts resided in Neillsville until a week ago, when they moved to Mosinee.


The is survived by her parents, a sister, Sharon, and two brothers, Gary and Keith, at home, and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Sonderegger of Greenwood, and Mrs. And Mrs. Henry Langfeldt, Loyal. The child was preceded in death by a brother, Lyle.
