ALFRED MARVIN, 40, DIES HERE TUESDAY
FUNERAL RITES WILL BE CONDUCTED THURSDAY FOR GREENWOOD MAN


Greenwood
--Alfred Marvin, 40, who lived 2 miles southwest of Greenwood, Clark County, died yesterday afternoon, May 16, 1939 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, where he had been a patient the past 10 days. Death was caused by a heart ailment and dropsy.


Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Methodist Church. The Rev. C.R. Gaylord will officiate at the rites, and burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.


Mr. Marvin was born in the Town of Eaton Sept. 26, 1898. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Esther Vine Marvin, and two small sons, Kenneth and Sonny.
