JULIUS HALLE RITES ARE HELD SATURDAY
SERVICES FOR GREENWOOD MAN AT REFORMED CHURCH

--Funeral rites for Julius Halle, 82, who died Wednesday morning, March 3, 1937 of old age complications, were conducted at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at Zion's Reformed Church, Greenwood, preceded by brief rites at the home. The Rev. E.G. Pfeiffer officiated, and burial took place in the Greenwood Cemetery.


Pallbearers were Adolph Schwarze, William Schwarze, C. C. Hoehne, John Arends, and Adolph Meyer.


Mr. Halle was born in Germany on Aug. 5, 1854, and was married there on Feb. 11, 1879. After coming to America, Mr. and Mrs. Halle lived for a time at Plymouth, Cascade and Mosel before coming to Greenwood, Clark County. Mrs. Halle preceded him in death in 1933. For the past several months, Mr. Halle had been making his home with a son, Fred.


Surviving Mr. Halle are five children, Hugo, at Christie Bruno, Fond du Lac Charles and Fred, town of Eaton and Mrs. Edward (Lena) Droghe , Milwaukee and 35 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
