JAMES FAHEY PASSES AWAY IN WEST


Word was received her last week by Mrs. Harry Hogue, of the death of her brother, James Fahey, at Bend, Ore., on July 23rd, 1935.


Mr. Fahey was struck by a hit and run driver and was found by a news boy at 5 o'clock in the morning. On account of the terrible storm there that night, no one saw or heard the accident. Mr. Fahey was taken to the hospital where he passed away later that day.


Mr. Fahey, who was 87 years of age will be remembered by many of the older residents of this community, having lived here (Greenwood, Clark County) for some time.


He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mary Delaney of Portland, Ore. one son, Wm. Fahey, address unknown four brothers, Dan and John of Oregon Mike of Alberta, Canada Edward of Greenwood four sisters, Mrs. Annie Stoskey and Mrs. Aggie Houle of Port Huron, Mich. Mrs. John Sutherland, Bakersfield, Calif. and Mrs. Harry E. Hogue of Greenwood, and a number of other relatives.
