MRS. H. DANIELS DIES FRIDAY


Mrs. Herman Daniels
, nee Theresa Becker, was born in Germany Sept. 23, 1863 and passed away at the home of her son, Rev. Wm. Daniels, Friday afternoon, Dec. 12, 1930 at 3:30 o'clock after an illness of nearly two years duration.


She was married to Herman Daniels in Germany in 1886 and in 1893 they came to America, locating at Hewitt, Wis., where they resided until a few years ago, when they came to Greenwood, Clark County, where they made their home with their son, Rev. Wm. Daniels, pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church.


To this union were born nine children, two daughters, Mrs. John Brusky and Mrs. Albert Schiferl died about eight years ago. The surviving children are Herman J. Daniels of Auburndale, Wis. Sister Winanda of Mankato, Minn. Mrs. Leo Stieber of Wausau, Wis. Rev. Alois J. Daniels of Cazanovia, Wis. Rev. Wm. Daniels and Miss Theresa Daniels of Greenwood, Wis. and Gehard Daniels of Wausau.


Mrs. Daniels is survived by her husband, the above mentioned children, a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and several sisters in Germany.


A Solemn Requiem High Mass was said at St. Mary's Church, Greenwood, Tuesday morning, Dec. 16th, at 10:00 o'clock with her son Rev. Wm. Daniels as Celebrant, another son, Rev. Alois Daniels as Deacon, Rev. A. Frisch as Sub-Deacon and Rev. J.J. Novak as Master of Ceremonies.


The body was taken to Hewitt by the Schiller Undertaking Company and laid to rest in the Catholic Cemetery with Rev. Father Forster officiating at the grave.


Mrs. Daniels was a kind wife and loving mother, good neighbor and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Zithehefer, Sherry, Rev. A. Mucherheide, Thorp, Rev. J. Flad, Keyesville, Rev. McGinnity, Lima Ridge, Rev. T. Frahling, Nekoosa, Rev. Shorn, M.S.C., Sparta, and Rev. P. J. Zaun, M.S.C., Sparta.
