WM. SCHILLER DIES MONDAY


William Schiller, 45, prominent furniture dealer and mortician at Neillsville, died at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire, at 4 a.m. Monday, Aug. 17, 1936, after having been a patient at the institution for the past eight weeks.


Mr. Schiller contracted pneumonia after an appendicitis operation and failed to recover his strength. Oxygen had been administered for the past six weeks, and several blood transfusions had been resorted to in the battle for his recovery.


Funeral services will be conducted at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Neillsville, at 9 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. Peter Weber officiating. Burial will take place in the Neillsville Cemetery.


Mr. Schiller was a native of Clark County and since 1926 has been engaged in the furniture business and as mortician at Neillsville and was well known throughout this vicinity.


He is survived by his wife, three sons, Robert, William Jr., and Joseph, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Schiller, one brother, T. F. Schiller of Greenwood, Four sisters and a host of friends.
