OBITUARY OF RAY EVERETT HOGUE

Ray Everett Hogue, son of the late Charles and Matilda Hogue, was born at Greenwood, Clark County, Wis., May 24, 1878. He attended the Greenwood School after which he was affiliated with the Gibson Lumber Company in Taylor County and later with the Westboro Lumber Company.

On April 6, 1904, he was united in marriage to Jessie Norton of Whitelesey, Wis. Directly they went to Coeu d' Alene, Idaho, where he resided until the time of his death. For a number of years he was employed as telephone linesman for the forestry service at Coeur d Alene.

Surviving him are his widow, Jessie, a son Harvey of Coeur d Alene, Idaho, five sisters and three brothers, Harry and Will Hogue of Greenwood, Wis. Mrs. Pearl Simerson of Medford, Wis. Mrs. Owen O'Connor of Hayden Lake, Idaho Miss Dellamae Hogue, Mrs. Ethel Tripp, Mrs. Nelly Buhite and Oscar Hogue of Portland, Oregon.

Following a two year illness, he passed away Friday, May 15, 1936 at the Coeur d Alene Hospital. Funeral services took place Sunday at 1:00 p.m. from the Mooney Chapel with Rev. R.J. Hunter officiating. The soloist sand Abide With Me and Four Square.

Relatives from out of the city were: Mrs. Pearl Simerson, Medford, Wis. Mrs. Owen O'Connor, Hayden Lake, Idaho Mrs. Ethel Tripp, Mrs. Nelly Buhite, Miss Dellamae Hogue, and Oscar Hogue, Portland, Ore. Fred Norton, Spokane, Wash. and Mrs. James Briggs, Portland, Ore.

The floral tributes were numerous and beautiful, giving testimony of the esteem of a host of friends.
