Przbylski, Caroline (1930 - 1999)

 

Caroline Przybylski, 69, Thorp, WI, died at 12:05 a.m., Friday, July 16, 1999, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.


Caroline was born May 24, 1930 at Willard, WI to Paul and Josephine (Moras) Digoski. She was Valedictorian of the class of 1948 at Greenwood High School. She married Chester Przybylski, May 1, 1954 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard, WI. They lived and farmed in the Town of Reseburg, rural Thorp, for 38 years moving to the City of Thorp in 1992. She had been Town of Reseburg Town Clerk for 23 years and 12 years as Assessor for the Town of Reseburg. She had worked for 5 years at Clark Electric, Greenwood. Caroline loved gardening, cooking, walking, and was a member of St. Bernard's-St. Hedwig's Parish Council of Catholic Women.


Surviving are her husband Chester Przybylski, Thorp two sons: Chester (Theresa) Przybylski, Jr., of Stevens Point, WI, Charles (Lana) Przybylski of Thorp, WI five grandchildren and one brother, Walter Digoski of Willard, WI. She preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and 3 brothers.


Funeral services were held Monday, July 19, 1999, 10:30 a.m. at St. Bernard's-St. Hedwig's Cathlic Church, Thorp, WI with Rev. John Puerner and Rev. Brian Jazdzewski officiating. Burial was in St. Hedwig's Cemetery, Thorp. Pallbearers were: Jim Schmitz, Ben Dobrzynski, Joe Olejniczak, John Briski, Tom Przybylski and Henry Kolodziej. A visitation was at Thorp Funeral Home, Sunday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:30 p.m.
