MEMORIAL SERVICE HELD FOR MAUREEN PRIOR


Memorial services were conducted on Tuesday, Aug. 3, at 11 a.m., at the United Methodist Church, Loyal, for Maureen Ellen Prior, 18, of 200 West South St., Loyal, Clark County.


Maureen was killed at 2:15 a.m., Saturday, July 31, 1976, in an automobile accident.


Rev. Paul Doering, Boyceville, Wis. officiated, and Mrs. Ruth Zepplin was the organist. Burial was made at 10:00 in the Loyal Cemetery.


Maureen Prior, daughter of Mrs. Dorothy Prior and the later Robert Prior, was born June 7, 1958, at Marshfield. She attended Loyal Elementary School, and graduated from Loyal High School in May 1976. She participated in the Loyal High School Choir for four years, was a member of the United Methodist Church, Loyal, and was director of the youth choir at church.


Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Dorothy Prior three brothers, Michael, Scott and Mitchell and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Prior, Loyal, and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Kronberger, Loyal.


Pallbearers were Steven, Brian and Brad Lavey, and Mark, Craig and David Kronberger.


She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Prior.


Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, was in charge of arrangements.
