ACCIDENT CLAIM LIFE OF THERESA DITTER


A tragic auto accident early Saturday morning, July 3, 1976 claimed the life of Theresa Ditter, 18, of Loyal, Clark County. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Ditter, Loyal.


Funeral services were held Tuesday morning, July 6, at 9 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal, and at 4 p.m. at Holy Trinity Church, Village of Jericho. Officiating were Father Chester Osowski and Rev. Henry Gjomulka, with interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery. The Rinka Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.


Theresa was born Feb. 26, 1958, at Fond du Lac and attended the Chilton High School for one year before moving to Loyal in 1973. She graduated in May as a member of the Class of 76. Her class attended the funeral in a group. While in school she worked as a secretary in the school office, was a member of the radio club and the Spanish Club.


In addition to her parents she is survived by three brothers, Norman, Rockford, Ill. Paul, Chilton and James at home five sisters, Mrs. Ed (Patricia) Balcom, Fond du Lac Mrs. Charles (Jo Ann) Piette, Appleton Mrs. James (Janet) Brandt, Valders Mary and Eileen at home and her grandfather, Mr. Alfred Ditter, Malone, Wis.


Pallbearers at St. Anthony's Loyal, were Eric Englebretson, Terry Schoonover, Randy Noeldner, Randy Schmidt, Michael Tomke and John Meyer.


At the Village of Jericho pallbearers were Joe Freund, Gerald Bord, John Birschbach, Ken Stenz, Mike Kraus and John Ditter.
