Kluender, Harry E. (1916 - 2001)

 

NEILLSVILLE - Harry E. Kluender, 84, of Neillsville, formerly of Greenwood and Elgin, Ill., died April 20, 2001, in the emergency room at Memorial Medical Center, Neillsville.


Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at East Dundee Township Cemetery in Dundee, Ill.


The Cuddie Funeral Home of Greenwood is assisting the family with arrangements.


Harry Kluender was born Oct. 3, 1916, in Detroit, Mich. to Harry V. and Elsie (nee Peters) Kluender. After retiring from Zenith Radio and Television Co., his family moved to Greenwood in 1978 where they purchased a small farm. He lived at Whispering Pines Manor in Neillsville from the time his wife, Eleanor, died on June 25, 1997, until his death.


Harry is survived by two sons, Harry (Susan) Kluender of Deerfield, Ill., and David (Jenny) Kluender of Billerica, Mass. one daughter, June (Jesse) Morales of Parsons, Tenn. five grandchildren and one sister, Lois Bruns of Elgin, Ill.
