Eileen Franz


LOHRVILLE--Eileen Emma Franz, age 75, of Lohrville, died early Monday morning, April 30, 2001, at Juliette Manor Nursing Home in Berlin where she had been residing for the past two weeks.


Funeral services for Mrs. Franz will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 330 Foster Road in Redgranite. The Rev. Gregory Sluke, pastor, will officiate. Following cremation, inurnment will be in the Foster Road Cemetery.


Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Ruminski Funeral Home, Highway 21, in Redgranite and from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.


A memorial has been established for Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Redgranite.


Eileen was born May 4, 1924, in Marshfield, the daughter of John and Luella Meyers Hodgden. She had been married to John E. Jones, who is deceased. She married Alfred Franz on June 7, 1969, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Redgranite. Al survives.


Eileen had been employed for a time at Swensons in Redgranite. She enjoyed collecting state cups, plates and spoons. She had enjoyed sewing, embroidering, reading and yard work. Eileen loved her family, especially her grandchildren.


Eileen was a faithful member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Redgranite, and had been a member of the Ladies Aid of the Church.


Survivors include her devoted husband of 31 years, Alfred her three children, Beverly (Donald) Kasubaski of Ripon, Gary (Linda) Jones of Wisconsin Rapids and Nancy (Louis) Petit of Neshkoro. Eileen is also survived by nine grandchildren, Timothy Kasubaski David (Wanda) Kasubaski, Michael (Cindy) Kasubaski, Tracy Kasubaski, Jeffrey (Jill) Jones, Lori (Stephen) Brown, Jonathan (JoAnn)Bartel, Angela (Brian) Ramirez and Nathan Bartel nine great-grandchildren, Joshua and Micheal Kasubaski, Rachel Kasubaski, Jack and Jarett Jones, Anakin Brown, Jensen Bartel, Logan and Desiree Ramirez a brother, Raymond (Ruth) Hodgden of Granton a special sister-in-law, Fay Hodgden of Granton nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.


Eileen was preceded in death by her parents her twin sister, Elaine and her brothers, Alvin, Gilford, James, Johnny and Myron.
