MRS. ADELINE ORSBURN BURIED AT GREENWOOD


Mrs. Adeline Orsburn
, 65, of R. 2, Greenwood, Clark County, died at her home around 3 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, 1975.


Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, with burial in the West Side Cemetery. The Rev. David Logue officiated.


Gary Schultz sang "Old Rugged Cross" and "Beyond the Sunset", accompanied by Mrs. Gary Schultz on the organ.


Pallbearers were Elmer Humke, Leroy Fravert, Alvin Albert, Phillip Vollrath, Roger Schwarze, and Jack Ormond.


The Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, was in charge of arrangements.


The former Adeline Schwarze was born Feb. 12, 1910, at Greenwood. She was married on Dec. 12, 1928 at Greenwood to Edward Orsburn. They farmed in the Town of Warner, and she also worked at memorial Hospital at Neillsville for eight years. They had just sold their farm and planned to retired at Mead Lake this week.


She is survived by her husband, 3 daughters, Mrs. Harry (Janna) Wallis, Greenwood, Miss Phyllis Orsburn, St. Paul, Minn. and Miss Rachel Orsburn, Chicago, Ill., and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter and one son in infancy.

Orsburn, Adeline (12 February 1910 – 22 November 1975)

Mrs. Edward Orsburn, 65, lifelong resident of Greenwood died November 22 at her home following an apparent heart attack.

Mrs. Orsburn, the former Adeline Schwartz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Schwartz was born February 12, 1910, in Greenwood.

She was married December 12, 1928, in Greenwood to Edward Orsburn. He survives.

She received her education at the Decker School. After their marriage they farmed in the Town of Warner and she also worked for eight years at Memorial Hospital in Neillsville.

They had planned to move and live in retirement at Mead Lake, this week.

Surviving besides her husband are three daughters, Mrs. Harry (Joanna) Wallis of Greenwood, Miss Phyllis Orsburn of St. Paul, Mn., and Miss Rachel Orsburn of Chicago; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held, November 24, in Greenwood. The Rev. David Logue, pastor of Zion United Church officiated. Burial was made in the West Side Cemetery.
