Mr. and Mrs. Dale Vollrath and family spent from Wednesday until Monday at the home of Mrs. Elvera Fravert and other relatives. Saturday supper guests at the Fravert home were the Dale Vollrath family of Green Bay, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Reineking, Gene, Gail and Wayne of Coby, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Grahn of Deerfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Vollrath.

Wednesday supper guests at the Lawrence Cox home were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Parks and sons, Jeffrey and Steven, of Livermore, Calif.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Johnson of Goodman, Mo., and Mrs. William Weidensal of Yutan, Nebr., spend from Monday until Wednesday with their brother and sister-in-law, Mr and Mrs. Henry Goettsch.

Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Noah of Milwaukee spent the weekend at the home of Mrs. Lee Corey. They attended the funeral of their brother, Herman Noah, in Neillsville Friday.

The Woman’s Society of Christian service will meet in Grace Methodist Church Friday afternoon. Mrs. Truman Hill and Mrs. Maud Huntzicker will be hostesses. Program chairman will be Mrs. Leon Kuester.

The Women’s Guild will meet at 2 p.m. September 6 in Immanuel United Church. Election of officers will be held. Hostesses will be Mrs. Walter Decker and Mrs. Calvin Franz.

Sunday dinner guests at the Thurman Craig home in Willard were Mr. and Mrs. John L. Gordon and family and Mrs. Edith Whiting of Gillett, Miss Sandra Ann Craig and Craig J. Gordon of Stevens Point, and John Ramminger, Jr., of Greenwood.

Oscar Indgjer of Eau Claire visited Tuesday at the home of his sister, Mrs. Louise Ellingson.

The American Lutheran Church women met last Thursday afternoon at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Mrs. Arthur Turnquist called the meeting to order.

Mr. and Mrs. Val Krainz and children, Ruth and Larry, and Mr. and Mrs. John Kaltinger, visited Mr. and Mrs. Allan Harbort, Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. Allan Harbort, Jr., and son, Michael, of Milwaukee, at Bayfield Monday and Tuesday.

Mrs. Ralph Ystad accompanied her son, Ronald Ystad of Nekoosa, on a trip to Puyallup, Wash., where they spent 10 days with their son and brother, Neil Ystad, and family.

Weekend guests at the Wilbur Stewart home were Mr. and Mrs. Orville Matzke of Wausau.

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Carlson and Miss Catherine Braun of Eau Claire were weekend guests of the latter’s mother, Mrs. Blanche Braun.

Mrs. Mary Jane Minsaas attended the funeral of her uncle, Herman Noah, in Neillsville Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Bert Sohlberg and family of Dundee, Ill., were Friday and Saturday guests at the John Kaltinger home.

Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Erickson were Mr. and Mrs. Howard Eriesath of Monroe.

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Helding and daughter, Pamela, of Rothschild, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Thompson, were Saturday visitors at the Robert Stewart home.

Jim and Barbara Hansen of Milwaukee spent the weekend visiting at the Harold Prock and Robert Mortenson homes.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Burr spent the weekend in Menomonie with their daughter, Mrs. Donald Dahlke, and family. They were accompanied by their granddaughter, Diane Kronberger.
