Babcock, Karen M. (2 APR 1943 - 6 NOV 2012)

Karen Mae Babcock, Age 69, of Chili, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Care Partners Country Terrace in Abbotsford.

Her funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Life Tributes Funeral Home in Spencer. Dale Mishleau will officiate. Burial will take place following the service at the Babcock Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home in Spencer from 11:30 AM until the time of service. Acting as pallbearers will be Karen's grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Karen was born April 2, 1943 in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin to the late Lawrence and Barbara (Beguin) Ludeman. She attended school in Milton Junction, WI On March 1, 1958 she married Herbert Babcock in Dubuque, Iowa. Karen was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker.

Hobbies included quilting, embroidery, baking, canning, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is lovingly survived by her husband Herbert of Chili; her children: Kay (Ronald) Hardesty of Arpin; Diane (Steve) Ryan of Monroe, GA; Scott (Michelle) Babcock of Marshfield; Joyce (Todd) Bruesewitz of Pine Island, MN; and Christine (George) Berger of Loyal, one brother Robert (Cora) Ludeman of Whitewater: her grandchildren: Jeffrey Hardesty; Aaron (Angie) Hardesty; Carrie Bruesewitz; Katie Bruesewitz; Eric, Greg, & Lydia Berger, her great grandchildren: Ryan McLellan, Thunder & Olivia Hardesty; and Dillon & Owen Hardesty.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Nancy; her mother-in-law Old Grandma Woods.
