F.T. Weeks, Dentist, office over Snyder’s Store, Neillsville.


Mrs. Kearney Davis spent Thursday with friends at Marshfield.


Mrs. Clyde Shaw and baby went home to Stillwater, Minn., Yesterday.


Miss Lovilla Sternitzky went to Mosinee Thursday for an extended visit at her brother, Robert’s.


Mrs. Frank Jahr had dental work done at Neillsville Thursday while her sister Miss Minnie Wilke kept house for her here.


Mr. and Mrs. Belden of Dickinson, N. Dak., are visiting at Otto Walters’ since Wednesday.

The W.J. Thayer hardware store sports a new sign board designed and executed by Frank Wood.


Miss Lulu Beecher came home Wednesday evening from a several weeks visit between Grand Rapids and Stevens Point.


Mr. and Mrs. Ben Joern are entertaining an aunt and uncle of his from Fall Creek since Tuesday.


Mrs. Clyde Shaw shipped the balance of her household goods from here to her home near Stillwater, Minn., Wednesday.


Don’t forget the Fire Insurance Meeting here next week, Tuesday.


The last of S. Gearke’s furniture was moved over from Neillsville Sat. and they are now nicely settled in their new home here.


The Forest House did a good stroke of business in serving midnight supper to patrons of the dance here last Saturday night. They had a goodly patronage of pleased customers.

Herman Guetschow of Spencer called on friends here Wednesday morning and went to Chili that afternoon.


Mrs. Alderman of Humbird is visiting at Rev. Wolf’s in town of York since Wednesday.


Alfred Porath is a successful skunk hunter, securing more than a dozen of the little perfumed fellows in one batch.


Free Converse has bought the Clyde Shaw property and will take possession just as soon as the title can be perfected.


We wish to call the farmers attention to the Farmers Institute to be held at Granton, January 17 and 18. We hope to be able to publish a full program next week.


Geo. King joined the ranks of the married men some two weeks since. They are living in Minneapolis and housekeeping in a flat by themselves. Further particulars we have not learned, but George is a handsome fellow and is, we think as good as he looks. We extend congratulations and wish them success.


The Spencer M. Marsh and A. B. Marsh families autoed over from Neillsville Sunday and spent the day with all their relatives here about who were that day entertained by their sister Mrs. Melvina Wright. It was a large company and as the farewell to Hon. S.M. Marsh and his family who departed Tuesday for their new home at San Diego, Cal.


Henry Sternitzky drove over from Lynn Tuesday evening and met his son Walter and bride who were returning from their wedding trip. The bride was Miss Elsie Nygard of Oshkosh. Though a stranger to us, from observation we know her to be a young woman of very pleasant address. The groom is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sternitzky, a well educated, competent, thorough business man and gentleman. He is amply qualified and of a disposition to make an ideal husband. We predict for them much joy and happiness in their married life.
