Edward Henninger, 57, brother of Oswald Henninger, Loyal, was killed in an auto accident Saturday evening at 11 p.m. He was crossing the street in front of his home when he was struck by a car, causing a fractured skull and leg and other injuries. He was dead on arrival at a hospital there and death was attributed to brain injuries.

Oswald Henninger and Bernard Henninger of Marshfield went to Milwaukee Monday to return the body to the Gilbertson Funeral Home at Granton for funeral services, which will be held Thursday afternoon at 1 p.m. there. The pastor of the Neillsville Methodist Church will officiate and burial will be made in the Windfall Cemetery.

Mr. Henninger was born Feb. 24, 1905 in Port Washington, and as an infant came with his parents to the town of Fremont (Clark Co., Wis.). He received his education there and grew to manhood. He was employed on farms in the towns of Sherman, Fremont and Granton, and about 20 or 25 years ago went to Milwaukee. He has been employed as a plasterer since then. He never married.

Survivors include six brothers, Oswald, Loyal; Emil, Granton; John, Beloit; Ferdinand, Spencer; Adolph, Elgin, Iowa; and Bernard, Marshfield; and a sister, Betty Henninger of Newark, N.J.

Three sisters and a brother preceded him in death.
