Hempelman, Beverly A. (13 AUG 1960)

 

Miss Beverly Ann Hempelman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hempelman of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Jerome Neisius, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Neisius of Thorp on Saturday, Aug. 13th, 1960 at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church at 11 o’clock.  Rev. Disher performed the double ring ceremony.

 

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of Chantilly lace on tulle over satin with chapel train fashioned with fitted lace bodice, Sabrina neckline traced with iridescents and pearls, having long tapered sleeves, diagonal tiers of scalloped lace accentuated the bouffant skirt with chapel train.

 

A pearl and iridescent crown held her imported silk illusion veil.  The bride carried a cascade of red roses.  She wore crystal earrings, gift from her sister, and a white lace hankie.

 

Miss Karen Olsen, cousin of the groom, was the maid of honor.  Junior bridesmaids were Karen Hempelman, sister of the bride, and Miss Odelia Wenzell, the bridesmaids were Miss Jean Hempelman and Miss Caroline Hempelman, cousins of the bride.

 

The bride’s attendants wore floor length gowns of blue and yellow chiffon over taffeta with fitted bodice and Sabrina neckline traced with iridescents.  They wore matching crowns with blusher veils, white gloves and crystal earrings and lace hankies, gifts of the bride.  They carried bouquets of yellow and blue carnations.

 

The flower girl was Miss Patricia Neisius, niece of the groom, wore a white floor length gown, white lace over taffeta with matching crown with iridescents, blusher veil.  She carried a small bouquet of white carnations.

 

The ring bearer was Eddie Roman, nephew of the groom, who carried the rings on a white satin pillow trimmed with pearls and ribbons.

 

The groom’s attendants were Eddie Kosik, friend of the bride and groom, Thomas Hempelman, brother of the bride, and Max Schultze, friend of the bride and groom.

 

The bride’s mother attended her daughter’s wedding in a two piece blue lace dress with white accessories.  The groom’s mother wore a two piece blue linen dress with white accessories.  They both wore white corsages with gold ribbon.

 

A dinner was served to friends and relatives  after the ceremony.  The reception was held in the parish hall.  The wedding dance was also held there for around 400 guests.

 

The couple went on a trip to northern Wisconsin.  They will make their home in Racine, Wis.

 

Many out of town guests attended the wedding.
