Kloth, Gertrude (Schwartz) (6 JUL 1919 - 27 MAR 2012)


Gertrude Kloth, age 92, of Dorchester, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at her home.


Gerturde was born July 6, 1919, to John and Clara (Lindner) Schwartz in the town of Hull, near Colby.


She received her education at Barry Grade School in the town of Holton.


She enjoyed crocheting, bead work, gardening and cooking.


Gertrude is survived by her children, Kenneth (Bonnie), Merrill; Ruthann (James) Maw, Finger, TN; Jerry (Marlene), Wausau; Bonnie (Robert Svoboda, Colby, Lyle (LuAnn) Dorchester and Jesse, Dorchester; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lester; son David; 2 granddaughters and a great-grandson.


A funeral service was held at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Dorchester on Saturday, March 31, 2012. Pastor Jerome Freimuth presided. Burial followed the service at Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.

The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home of Dorchester assisted the family with arrangements.
