Lynn (24 November 1911)

 

F. Helm and Ed Sternitzky spent several days at Menasha on business the fore part of the week.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Grassman went to Wausau last week in response to a message of the death of Mrs. Grassman’s brother of that place.

 

Louis Nickel and family spent Sunday with the John Martin family.

 

A number of farmers hauled grain to Granton last Week.

 

M. and Mrs. O. W. Becker spent Sunday at P. Faber’s.

 

Miss Nora Gotter assisted Mrs. Geo. Brooks several days last week with her household duties.

 

Miss Nellie Altenburg visited with her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. J. Altenburg for several days.

 

The Ferdinand Helm family spent Sunday with Max Opelt and family.

 

Jim Tremelling of Heathville transacted business here the last of the week.

 

Miss Theresa Lautenbach visited with friends in this vicinity several days last week.

 

Miss Pearl Krause visited Mrs. John Breseman several days this week.

 

Will Reisner and Emil Lindow delivered stock at Granton Tuesday.

 

Oscar Johnson purchased a new feed cutter, wood saw and gasoline engine.

 

Fred Hankey threshed for Geo. Brooks last week.

 

Max Opelt and John Breseman will give a Thanksgiving dance at the Bowery Wednesday evening, Nov. 29th. Supper will be served at Max Opelt’s.  In the afternoon a turkey raffle and shoot will take place at John Breseman’s saloon.
