Panek, La Verne (14 MAY 1960)

 

Miss La Verne Panek was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Chet G. Forrester at an eleven o’clock nuptial mass at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church, Thorp, May 14, 1960.  The Rev. Francis S. Disher officiated.

 

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Joseph J. Panek.

 

A white silk organza dress with a Chantilly lace bodice and lace panel down the front was worn by the bride.  The dress was trimmed with iridescent sequins and the skirt with an overskirt designed with appliqued flowers ended in a chapel train.  Pearls acceded the crown which held the silk illusion veil.

 

Miss Patricia Ann Rogers of Cicero, Ill, a sister of the groom, and was maid of honor.  Miss Diane and Joanne Panek, sisters of the bride, were bridesmaids, and Debbie Panek, sister of the bride, was flower girl.

 

The maid of honor, bridesmaids and flower girl wore identical gowns of white nylon velveray with lilac cummerbunds and a lilac panel down the back.  The white nylon was imprinted with a lilac and white velveray flower.  They wore lilac half hats with bird cage veils.  The flower girl wore a crown of fresh orchid flowers and carried a white basket of fresh orchid flowers.

 

William E. Washetas of Round Lake Beach, Ill., was best man.  Ernest W. Steterfeld and Thomas Rogalski of Cicero, Ill., were groomsmen.  Roger Polnaszek and Eugene Florio were ushers.
