Mrs. A.W. hales went to Stanley Friday morning where she will spend about ten days with her daughter, Mrs. M. Page.

 

Elsie Dorst visited our school last Thursday.

 

A.W. Hales took a sleigh load of ladies to the Social Club at Albert Davis’ Thursday.

 

Miss Rena Montgomery was given a party in honor of her 16th birthday Friday evening.

 

Esther Phipps attended the party at Montgomery’s and spent Friday night with Elsie Dorst.

 

Bernice Wright was given a surprise party in honor of her 11th birthday Saturday.  A good time was had by all her schoolmates who attended.

 

Six of the W.W. Club members and their husband took a sleigh ride to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Berg Saturday evening.  The evening was spent in a social way and a pleasant time is reported by all.

 

Owing to the impassible condition of the roads, our school had another day’s vacation on Monday.

 

Leonard Dorst spent Friday evening at Jesse Rowe’s.

 

Miss Edna Phipps, who spent the last 4 weeks with the Fred Daniels family, came home Wednesday.

 

Mrs. Chas. Hayden was on the sick list  Friday and Saturday of last week.

 

Mrs. Alice Hatch spent last Wednesday with Mrs. S. Winn.

 

W.J. Davis bought a new Portland cutter of W.J. Davis last week.

 

This community was shocked to hear of the death of Mrs. Eugene Osgood Saturday morning, as it was not known she was in serious conditions.
