1917 is hitting us pretty hard and we hope it will change its course soon.

Mrs. Fred Pizer and children visited at Mrs. John Patno’s last Thursday.

Neil Kidd made a business trip to Neillsville last week.

Loyal Jordan and Justin Johnson are putting up ice this week.  "We can just taste ice cream now."

Add. Albaugh and August Zuehlsdorf entertained the wood sawyers last week.

Vera Pietenpol is assisting Mrs. F. Pizer with her household duties this week.

Neil and Mollie Kidd made a business trip to Loyal on Monday.

A number from this vicinity took in the lecture course at Granton Saturday.  The entertainment was grand and enjoyed by all.

Mr. and Mrs. Home Spry leave Monday for Crystal Falls, Mich.  We are sorry to lose them but wish them success in their new home.

Mr. Harvey Spry is at present working in Milwaukee in a factory.
