Twarowski, John (27 SEP 1880 - 8 JAN 1960)

 

John Twarowski, 71, a former Reseburg (Clark Co., Wis.) farmer, passed away of natural causes at his home in Eau Claire Friday, Jan. 8, 1960, where he had been residing for the past nine years.

 

Mr. Twarowski, who retired from farming in 1950, was born in Poland on Sept. 27, 1880.  He came to America in 1907 and farmed for many years in the Town of Reseburg until retirement, with the exception of six months spent in Superior and two years in Detroit, Mich.

 

He was united in marriage to Bernice Kowieski at Thorp on Oct. 25, 1909.

 

Besides his widow he is survived by five sons, Louis of Elmwood Park, Ill.; Joseph of Withee, Casey and Leon of Chicago, and Walter of San Antonio, Texas; four daughters, Mrs. Martha Armades and Mrs. Loretta Nole of Chicago, Mrs. Valeria Kodl of Stanley and Mary Rankel of Eau Claire, Wis.

 

Funeral services were conducted by Father Francis Disher at St. Hedwig’s Church at ten o’clock Tuesday morning, Jan. 12th, and burial was made in St. Hedwig’s new cemetery.  Pallbearers were Emil Kodl, Paul Kowieski, Bill Nole, Bernard Prokopiak, Bruno Armades and Chester Zajaczkowski.
