Mrs. Earl Pickett called at the home of John Cross Wednesday, and Mrs. John Neumann and Donald were Thursday callers at the same home.

 

Miss Genevieve Pickett is employed at a beauty parlor at Marshfield.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Powers and children left Thursday for their home at Baraboo.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Lee Schofield returned home Thursday from a few days visit at Iron Mountain, Mich.

 

Groveside school closed last Thursday for the Easter vacation.

 

Mr. and Mrs. John Cross shopped in Marshfield Friday.

 

Miss Valda Bruss left for her home Monday, after spending a week at the Albert Seefeld home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Seefeld and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Schultz were Saturday evening callers at Marshfield.

 

Leonard and Elroy Luepke spent Friday evening at the John Cross home.  Elroy remained until Sunday to visit.

 

Ed. Meacham was a Marshfield caller Tuesday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Cross were Marshfield callers Wednesday.

 

Roger Cross was guest of honor at a birthday supper at his home Sunday in celebration of his 6th birthday.  Those in attendance were Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Luepke and sons, Leonard and Elroy; Frank Luepke, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Cross and son, James.  The table was decorated with two birthday cakes.

 

Miss Evelyn Meacham left for Wausau Sunday, where she has employment.
