GARY’S CAFÉ TO MOVE TO NEW QUARTERS

Two Bowling Alleys Will Be Installed and a Modern and Up to Date Restaurant Will Be Installed.

G. W. Fenhouse, proprietor of Gary’s Café, purchased the Hoey two store brick building located across the street from the present location of the café, a week ago, and now has workmen arranging the partitions in the new location for his restaurant, tavern and at least two bowling alleys, or probably three alleys.  Mr. Fenhouse has all his plans made in reference to the tavern, kitchen and restaurant and is going to have one of the most up to date and modern eating places in this part of the state.  He took the plans of the contemplated improvements in the new location and went to Madison where the Industrial Commission and State Board of Health approved the plans as submitted.  The entrance located in the center of the building, will open onto a hallway which will extend to the back of the building.  On the east side of the hallway in the front of the building will be the restaurant which will have seating capacity for 40 people.  The next room on the east side of the hallway will be the kitchen, and the last room will be the tavern.  All modern conveniences will be procured for the restaurant, kitchen and tavern and Mr. Fenhouse is putting in a lot of money and effort to give the people of this community an up to date establishment.

On the west side of the building will be located the bowling alleys.  Mr. Fenhouse said there would be two alleys at least, and probably three.  His plans for the number of alleys have not been completed as yet.  Between all the rooms in the building will be sound proof partitions, therefore eliminating any noise from one room disturbing patrons in any other room.  Mr. Fenhouse plans to have the building improvements completed and to be ready to move in by March 1.
