Granton (15 July 1965)

The South Grant Sewing Club will be entertained Wednesday, July 21, at the home of Mrs. Paul Goebel.  Mrs. Evan Dieck will be co-hostess. The June 30 meeting of the club was held at the home of Mrs. Ralph Lautenbach, with Mrs. Ronald Garbisch assisting.  Members sewed carpet rags and hemmed towels for the hostess.

Four Granton girls have returned from Wisconsin State University at Platteville, where they attended a cheerleader school. They will be the cheer leaders for the basketball team. The girls are Nancy Hoeft, Georgiann Barth, Connie Montgomery and Sharon Kurth.

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Hohenstein of Rockford, Ill., and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Poler, have returned from Cour de Ray where they spent a weeks fishing.
