Green, Ralph S. (15 SEP 1892 - 8 SEP 1963)

 

Ralph S. Green, age 71, of Bluffton, Ind., passed away on Sunday morning, Sept. 8, 1963, at a Fort Wayne, Ind. Hospital from injuries suffered in a car accident on Labor Day.

 

Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 10, from the Thoma Funeral Home in Bluffton.  Burial was made in Elm Grove Cemetery.

 

Mr. Green was born on Sept. 15, 1892, grew to manhood in North Hoard.  In 1910 his parents moved to the village of Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.) and with his father operated a general merchandise store until 1936.

 

He was married on June 16, 1915, to Miss Alma Neitzel.  In 1936 they moved to Abbotsford and operated a variety store until  1943 when they moved to Bluffton, Ind.  He was employed by Fruehoff Trailer Co. until he retired in 1958.

 

He was a member of the Presbyterian Church, the Masonic and Eastern Star Lodges.

 

His wife passed away in 1958.

 

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Alfred (Lila) Mittlestet, Bluffton, Ind., Mrs. Al (Jeanette) Goldamer, Milwaukee, Mrs. Francis (Shirley) Lovett Jr. of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Jake Johnson, Curtiss, and Mrs. Lawrence Neitzel, Abbotsford.

 

His brother, Stacey Green, passed away a year ago.
