Central Clark County (29 April 1965)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Duane Stutte of Loyal presented their infant son, Michael Duane, for baptism Easter Sunday in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Loyal.  Sponsors were Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Hinker.

 

Miss Carmella Grambsch recently spent a short vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Grambsch of Loyal.  Miss Grambsch has been stationed at Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., and on April 22 left for Korea, where she will be a social worker with the American Red Cross.  She will spend the next two years at the 121st Evacuation Hospital.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Lavey and family of Nekoosa and the Jerry Kronberger family of Wisconsin Rapids were recent visitors at the Leo Kronberger home in York.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Martens and son of Loyal were recent weekend guests of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Witte, in Niles, Ill.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Buddinger of York were honored April 14 at a wedding anniversary supper at the Otto Schmidtke home.

 

Mrs. Percy Zickert of Neillsville, and her son, Dean, of Minneapolis, Minn., were recent Sunday dinner guests at the Delmar Bartsch home in York.

 

Mrs. Clara White and grandson Parker Vivoda, of Loyal, spent several days recently with relatives in Appleton and Milwaukee. 

 

Mr. and Mrs. Leland Raab of Appleton, Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Bergemann and family of Greenwood, Mary Jane Bergemann of Wisconsin Rapids, and Richard Bergemann of Milwaukee were recent guests at the Jesse Raab home in Loyal.

 

Lt. Charles Anderson of Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., spent the Easter weekend at the Clyde Grambsch home in Loyal.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Kuester of Ansonia, O., were recent weekend guests of his mother, Mrs. Fred Kuester of Loyal.
