Arp, Ruth Ann (8 JUN 1963)

 

Residing in St. Paul, Minn., are newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Dean Dunn, who were married Saturday, June 8, 1963, at 2 p.m. at 2 p.m. in the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Owen.

 

The bride is the former Miss Ruth Ann Arp, St. Paul, Minn., daughter of Mrs. Vera M. Craig, Highland, was given in marriage by her mother to the son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Dunn of Canal Fulton, Ohio.

 

The Rev. J.R. Stone, assisted by the Rev. A.L. Woodring, was in charge of the nuptial ceremony for which Miss Darlene Brown was the pianist and Miss Jeanette Larson, the soloist.  Selections included "O Lord, Most Holy," "Song of Ruth" and "Savior, Like a Shepherd Lead Them."

 

The altar was decorated with palms and baskets of yellow and white gladioli, carnations and roses.

 

The bride entered the church wearing a white silk organza sheath with lace appliques and featuring a full cathedral train overskirt.  She had a bouffant veil secured to her bridal headpiece and carried a crescent of white roses.

 

Miss Edna Mea Beck, Owen, was the maid of honor, and Miss Jacqueline Mickelson, Muscatine, Iowa, and Miss Norma Dunn, Canal Fulton, Ohio, were the bridesmaids.

 

They wore yellow street length sheaths with white brocade overskirts and carried bouquets of white carnations and yellow roses.

 

Kathleen Sue and John Jacobson were the flower girl and ring bearer, respectively.

 

J. Richard Dunn, Huntington, Ind., was the best man and Kenneth Buchanan, Curtiss and Larry Anderson, Minneapolis, Minn., the groomsmen.

 

Both newlyweds attended St. Paul Bible College in St. Paul, Minn.  She has been employed there by Remington Rand Univac and her husband works at the Mueller-Bies Funeral Home in St. Paul.

 

Attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Paul E. Dunn and daughter, Linda, Canal Fulton, Ohio’ Mr. and Mrs. Donald Dunn, St. Paul, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. James Jacobsen and Mrs. Grace Hunerjager, all of Cobb; Mr. and Mrs. Julian Andersen, Villa Park, Ill.; The Rev. and Mrs. J.R. Stone and daughters, Carolyn and Kathy, Hibbing, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Ken Dyre, Mrs. Richard Baughman and Miss DeVonne Dyre, Greenwood; and also friends of the bridegroom from St. Paul, Minn.
